Your happy with your summer navigation but would like to up your skills to winter. Winter navigation is a lot harder than summer due to a number of factors such as:
- Snow flattens and hides land features.
- Paces and timings are massively effected due to varying snow conditions.
- Visibility.
- Weather.
- Can’t use some summer navigation techniques due to avalanche and cornices dangers.
