Do you want to turn your passion for climbing into a career? or introduce people to climbing? or do you want to help a qualified instructor run a session adding real value?
To become a climbing instructor you will need to attend a training course, these are between 1- 3 days long. You will then need to practice and observe others working, before you’re ready to come back for an assessment. Assessments are 1 – 2 days long. (The Mountain Training Indoor Climbing Assistant course is both training and assessment in one day)
There are a number of options depending on the type of climbing you would like to be able to instruct/coach. All course have minimum experience requirements, these can be found in detail on the specific course page.
