My aim when coaching climbing is to guide you to understand your climbing movement, control your mind, approach your climbing goals with sound tactics, be as physically fit as you can be and most importantly become self sufficient.
Coaching session are suitable for everyone, from complete beginner wanting to start their climbing with correct efficient movement through to performance climbers who want to pusher their limits
Climbing coaching is not about shouting beta at you! I have seen many ‘climbing coaches’ tell their clients how to climb a route move by move, but has the climber gained the deep understanding of climbing movement? As a qualified Development Coach and Mountaineering & Climbing Instructor I can provide you with high level climbing coaching sessions and training plans.
I have a deep understanding of climbing coaching not only do I coach climbing I also hold the Providership for delivering the Mountain Training coaching qualifications. So I coach the coaches to coach climbing 🙂

Single session
All climbing coaching sessions will be designed to meet your needs. A coaching session will start with me identify areas of your climbing movement that you can improve, we then work through this. Session length start from 2 hours – full day. For more in-depth coaching
Extended programs
Extended programs will start with a ‘Climber Profiling’ session. In this I will profile your climbing, discus your goal and design a program with you to fit around your life commitments. The program will be a mixture of coach lead sessions with me and sessions for you to do independently. Program and session lengths will vary depending on your goal.
