multi pitch rock climbing

Multi Pitch Trad Climbing

Multi pitch climbing is where you climb a route longer than one rope length. The leader climbs to a stance and makes a belay, then brings the second up. This process is then repeated until the top of the climb is reached.

When running trad multi pitch courses I employ a variety of different techniques to keep your learning progressive and to keep you safe. I will not trow you a trad rack and tell you  “you’ll be alright, its only easy”. After you have learned everything thing you need to know and you are ready to lead, I will be ascending a fixed line next to you. This is so I can ensure your safety, make sure you are doing everything correctly and to teach you new things (and to clip you in if the stress gets too much 😉 ).
