The Indoor Climbing Assistant ICA course will teach you everything you need to know to support a qualified instructor. You won’t be qualified to manage groups independently but you will have the skills to help run warm ups, teaching the tying of knots and belaying. You don’t have to be able to climb to become an Indoor Climbing Assistant.
The Indoor Climbing Assistant (ICA) is a single day course and is ideal for anyone. From young people who want to take their first steps to becoming an instructor, school teachers/classroom assistants who’s classes go for climbing sessions.
